Community Singing for Love, Hope, Joy & Peace 🙏🏼💜🎶☮️🌎  

Santa Barbara has many wonderful offerings in Community Singing, "Resistance Singing" and Sacred Singing events.  

Community singing circles include sharing & learning songs through the vocal tradition of ‘call and echo’. The songs chosen have fun inspiring and healing lyrics, lovely harmonies, and results include more connection, peace, harmony joy, aliveness & vitality!  And ALL are welcome – it's about community and connection - no singing experience required. 🙏🏼💜🎶☮️🌎🕊️💫

The "Resistance Singing" group also uses the "Signal" app  as noted below to provide more privacy and details for peace rally's.

  • ** JOIN US THIS SATURDAY 3/28 March 28 to sing for "No Kings Day".  Meet at 11:30 by the stage at Alameda park, sing 11:45-12:30, then meet by the Gazebo to sing in the March to De La Guerra Plaza starting ~1:30pm.  **
  • Santa Barbara "Singing Resistance" events are led by Heather, Amisha or Gwendolyn, singing songs of hope, peace, kindness, love and resilience at local peace rally's.   • Weekly Community Singing Circles led by Heather Stevenson or guest leaders including Elisabeth Gonella, Amisha and others on Tuesday evenings at 7pm at Yoga Soup, 28 Parker Way, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, 7-8:30pm. Click for info on Heather's circles.
